About me
      As a 1998 graduate of Philip High School, I’m proud to teach in the school that helped shape me. I attended Mount Marty College from 1998–2002 and began my teaching career at Hot Springs Middle School in 2002, teaching seventh grade English language arts for three years. I then returned to Philip High School to teach English language arts in grades 9–12. I am now in my 21st year of teaching high school and my 24th year in education.
      I also direct our school plays—a one-act production in the winter and a two-act production in the spring. Outside the classroom, I love to read; to me, reading is like breathing! My husband, Todd, and I have two children, Race and Paige, and we enjoy working together as a family on our ranch.
